Lee Harper welcomes support
ARCHERFIELD ace Lee Harper has also secured some welcome backing as he starts a hectic spell on the PGA EuroPro Tour.
A syndicate known as Edinburgh Pacific liked what they saw when Harper hosted a golf day at Archerfield and came up with some cash for the former Scottish Boys' champion. "It is massive to have any support at all at the present time as it's a tough market," he said. "I think there are eight guys in the syndicate and I can't thank them enough."
Harper is in Northumberland this week for the latest PGA EuroPro Tour event at Longhirst Hall then heads to Kent next Tuesday for the local final qualifying for The Open, having negotiated the first stage at Bruntsfield Links.
