Two new names in Germany squad
HAMBURG defender Dennis Aogo and Bayern Munich youngster Holger Badstuber are the surprise names in Germany coach Joachim Low's provisional 27-man squad for the World Cup.
Low also revealed Bayern Munich's Hans-Jorg Butt would be the third goalkeeper in his squad alongside Schalke's Manuel Neuer and Werder Bremen's Tim Wiese after No 1 Rene Adler was ruled out due to injury. There was no place for Lazio midfielder Thomas Hitzlsperger.
