Hunt for dead OAP's family

POLICE are appealing for help in tracing the relatives of an elderly man who has died in his city home.

Francis Graham McAllan, 75, was found dead at his home in Slateford Road on 5 February.

There are no suspicious circumstances and a report has been sent to the procurator fiscal.

The pensioner is believed to have been divorced from Helen MacFarlane and may possibly have a son in Orlando, Florida, and a daughter in Aberdeen.

A police spokesman said: "We are asking anyone who might know, or know of, Mr McAllan or his family to contact us."
